Cannabis seeds ready to be germinated.
Germinated seeds showing their taproots.
A Cannabis plant during its vegetative cycle.
It does not matter if a Cannabis plant will grow indoor or outdoor, germination is done in a similar way for both.
Your fresh Cannabis seeds need to absorb a large amount of water, this can be done either in a glass, some paper tissue or in a small pot with seedling soil.
germination can be done in either a light or a darkened room, with an ambient temperature of around 21 degrees celcius.
It takes an average Cannabis seed between 24-72 hours to start germinating, although "hard shelled" seeds could take longer.
As soon as the taproot shows (pic.02) you will need to plant the seeds in some soil or your medium of choice, no more than 1 cm deep.
Now you will need to provide at least 18 hours of light to simulate daylight hours which will trigger the seedling to grow upwards.
The best light for your seedlings is produced by a T5 fluorescent tube which provides the complete spectrum your plants need.
It is best to place the growing seedlings inside a heated propagator, these inexpansive but highly effective propagation boxes will increase your plants growth and maintain a perfect ambient enviroment for your young Cannabis plants.
As soon as your plants have a few sets of leaves and looks healthy (pic.3) , it is time to start the grow cycle.
